McKay Takes Top Tier Management Position at Shreveport NBC Affiliate

Mark McKay will be the new vice president and general manager for KTAL-TV, the NBC affiliate for the Shreveport, La.-Texarkana, Texas market, Nexstar Broadcasting announced today.

The hire brings McKay full circle, because he actually began his broadcasting career at KTAL in 1980 as a news anchor/reporter.

Vice president and general manager Bob Dunn, who began working for the Mobile, Ala., NBC affiliate WPMI-TV less than a year ago, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon.

TVNewser reports the cause of death has not yet been released.
