Louisiana Authorities Take Aim at New Orleans Reporter’s Photo

Using bullets instead of words, deputies in St. Bernard Parish refined their shooting and took aim at WVUE reporter Lee Zurik’s photo.

The discovery of the photo being used for target practice came after a voter fraud investigation by Zurik that involved some members of law enforcement.

Miami Univision Photog: You Don’t Have A Right To Record Them On Public Street

Univision cameraman claims another person taping him on public property is illegal.

Journalists/photographers/members of the broadcast media: you should know the rules governing privacy and video recording rights more than anybody.

I digress. Sometime in mid-January, a news videographer from Univision 23 told a Ron Paul supporter he did not have the right to record the news crew.

The blog Photography is Not a Crime reports after that, a woman also told the supporter it was “illegal” to do so.
