Michael Garber will be the next news director for WPTV-WFLX, NBC and FOX stations respectively, in the West Palm Beach, Fla., market.
TV News Check reports he will replace Jeff Brogan, who was bumped up to a senior management position at E.W. Scripps in Cincinnati.
In case you’re wondering about him serving as ND for both stations, the two are controlled through a shared services agreement. In fact, the FOX affiliate is owned by Raycom.
Garber previously was an ND for Gannet’s WTLV-WJXX operation in Jacksonville.
He’s also worked in South Carolina, Arizona and San Francisco.
