Current Phoenix, Ariz., weekend anchor Peter Busch will soon be moving to the Sunshine State.

TVNewser reports Busch starts as primary anchor for Ft. Myers NBC affiliate WBBH in May.

He will remain on the air at KPHO until then, but that’s not all.

Another journalist gets a shot at the anchor chair as well in the coming weeks: Chris Trenkmann, a general assignment reporter at CBS affiliate WKMG in Orlando, will soon start working in Tampa.

Trenkmann will be a multimedia journalist and fill-in anchor for WFTS.

Lastly, former multimedia journalist Jonathan Vigliotti, who left WPLG in Miami to pursue a freelance reporting career with WNBC in New York, will now formally join the staff as a full-time employee.

There’s no word at this point what Vigliotti’s new duties will entail.

Congratulations to all of you!
