For the last six days, people have had the chance to donate to a memorial fund in honor of former WSOC-TV reporter Ken Ward, whose sudden death earlier this month still raises questions from authorities.
Ward would have started at the Tampa, Fla., ABC affiliate WFTS-TV just days later.
Qcitymetro reports Ward’s family set up the fund at Wells Fargo Bank. The money raised will go toward paying funeral expenses and memorial fees, among other things.
From the article:
Ward’s wife Letitia wants to thank the community for their prayers and continued support. “Keep me in your prayers,” she said. “Thank you for all of your support and offerings. Just pray for us as we get through this.”
Those who would like to donate can simply go to any Wells Fargo location and specify the contribution for the memorial fund of Kenneth Walter Ward.
